I’m no photographer so apologies for my crappy photos, but in between filming I managed to snap a couple of snaps!
Dan Chapman was on it all day – and qualified 5th.
The chaos was immense, the track is slightly extended from 2009, and it’s ace.
Luke Fink and James Deane both were in fresh PS13’s from Team Severnside – rolling on Works, OZ and Rotas. Looking great!
Fink popped tyres off his rims twice doing jumps and landing sideways – awesome looking, but too stretched and too low psi for the surprisingly demanding jumps on the course. This arguably cost him is usual top qualifying position, posting 7th with only one completed run. He was REALLY on the wall though!
The cars are looking really fantastic this year.
Nigel Colfers car looked much better (IMHO) with it’s satin paintwork and well judged decals compared to it’s simpler WKD colours from 2009.
I loved this car – looked like a Nissan GT car from a distance.
Great weather and angles from all drivers all day. First place qualifier was the 14 year old Dwaine McKeaver putting in some stunningly consistent runs. If you’re not sure if your going or not, I can tell you it’s definitely worth it!
