I’m Michal Tuszynski, I’m a London based photographer – I refuse to be pigeonholed into any one category of photography, but my heart always will be with the edgy-adrenaline pumping sports and that is what drifting is to me.
For those of you who have never heard about the Skidrisk Days, the best way of introducing will be calling it a fun rubber burning day out, on a fast, smooth but also pretty ‘crash hungry’ track. If that sounds like something up your alley, check out the practice days section on the forum for the dates of the next Skidrisks.
Birmingham Wheels regulars are always here on the day, they stood up to the regulars name also this time. The black E30 touring trailing clouds of white smoke behind slowly becomes a signature picture of the Skidrisk Days.
Track was absolutely snowed down with the BMWs, all of them were giving their best on the new, faster layout of the circuit.
Later in the day the time has come to kick off the ODC, thats when we saw the turbo ‘japs’ pretty much dominating the competition.
The S14 taking part in the competition was smokin hot! Hats down for the driver for – what can be just described as ‘murdering the track!’.
It’s not often that Soarer gets as much attention and appreciation as the monster in the photos.
That thing was really fast and the noise it made was also quite impressive.
Every time I’m back at the Wheels it seems to be growing in numbers of people driving BWM tourers.
Seeing eststes bombing it sideways round the track is quite a view!
As expected high speed, concrete wall and ‘mad’ driving on the borderline of both, cars and drivers abilities simply must claim victims.
That included some E36s, E46 and Sierra, saying that all the drivers were fine and unharmed, the cars also looked like they could be fixed up before another drift day.
