Smash! Smash! Smash! The 2JZ inspection begins…

After the fun last weekend at Japfest 2, it was time to get the S15 on the ramp and confirm that the problem was the oil pump wheel as Phil suspected (see here).

I love the new camera. I’ve just got back from Portugal and it makes me look as honky as Bon 😀
Mr CrazyAnt has been down to help. We’ve got a new block off being machined for 87mm pistons, and a mild crank polish. We’re waiting on ETA’s for Wahle pistons, and ACL bearings, and the plan is to have it built early next week. Run the new engine in at Birmingham wheels on Wednesday, and Map it at Protuner on Thursday, and get to JDM Allstars Wembley on Saturday……… Hmmmmm, so not much to do then.

a nice 5.6 L VK56DE would go nice with either turbo’s or super charger. 319bhp, 379ft/lbs as stock.
