Ken Block 3: Part 1 – The Music Video?

Well, the cinematography is certainly upto scratch… but has the whole Gymkhana series become a brand in itself worthy of a hip hop video dedicated to it? Perhaps… perhaps it’s a bit pretentious. But we’re down with that – stuff like this does good things for the car world, even if it is a rally car.

At any rate, we have a good idea about what to expect from Part 2 – or whenever the actual stunt show is released.

I hate this with a passion, they should have just left it as Gymkhana, or at least got someone other than these two idiots. What a crock 🙁

Don’t be so fast to dismiss it..on 25 and 26 September there is a press day in Germany with around 40 drivers expected at a test event to test the feasibility of this concept with Drift cars.
See GYMKHANAGERMANY.COM.

Next year a full blown competition is planned.

At the test event the track layout is going to be layed out so the whole thing can be drifted in the conventional manner, with two cars on parallel grids.

Well for all the haters, do you all want to take a guess at why Nascar, Formula D and tons of other motorsport and xtreme sporting events are big and well attended in USA: its consumerism, good advertisement breeds success. Making a culture out of motorsport is the american way and it works. Cheesy-yes.. effective-Absolutely + Ken block is the owner of DC shoes. its MTV all day with DC in your face aka free advert + they get paid royalty.Genius
