At JDM Allstars Wembley this year during a short break everything came to a sudden stop when an actual living legend was discovered lurking near the judging stand. Now we had seen this tattoo before but knew nothing about it’s owner, or indeed if it was real or not… None the less, we managed to get in contact and he turned out to be a fine sport and sent us an interview….
So then, who are you?
Hello, my name is Jason Topp (worm), I’m 22 from Wiltshire.
And we take it you’re into drifting then?
Yep, I’m in love with drifting, it’s the only thing I like apart from the gym. I have been into it for about 4 years now ever since buyin a Mazda MX5. After that I owned a few S13s but due to losing my job I had to drop insurance groups and mpg so at the moment I have an E30 BMW with a welded differential and dropping it nice and low.
So are you a member on DW? How come we never hear about you?!
I used to have a dw account but that was years ago. When I get a higher paid job back I’m sure it will be time to get a s13 again and get back into it.
The question we all want to know then, why the tattoo? What does it mean to you?
I have had the tattoo about 3 years now. I was rather unsure about what to get at the time, I knew I wanted something on my neck but couldn’t decide. Eventually I took the Dwaine logo and put it on a Japanese rising sun, you can’t go wrong with that combo! I’m just glad that I was talk of the Driftworks office [laughs]!

Why would you get a brand name you’re not even asociated with tattooed forever on your neck? If it was James or phil or something I’d be able to understand it, but for it’s just some random kid who isn’t even part of the forum!

I see this guy all the time he lives in my town and i never even noticed the tattoo!
Good on him for doing it, nothing wrong with it. I have a Gatecrasher tattoo from my clubbing days just to remind me of how good it was.
