318 to 325

I'm just looking for some advice really. I'm going to look at a e36 318 rolling shell later today and wanted to know how hard it's going to be to put an m50 lump in? Will it drop straight in? Can I use the wiring that's already with the shell? Etc. If anyone's done this before please can you...
