flutter

Hi all, got my mx83 cressy with a 1jz non vvti in it (twin turbo) super happy about it but the only thing is that I don't like the factory turbo "whoosh" sound it makes. I tried blocking the bov to make it flutter but I think I've done it wrong, can I eat some pointers? Sorry it's a super noob...
