As per my other thread what would you recomend for the best set up for drifting. (this does not include coilovers btw)
My car is a s13 facelift and is completely standard underneath. what would you recomend for now in my price tag for the car. (also want 5 stud and z32 rears so bare that in cost)

you get what you pay for dude. a good geo set up is always good. so all the adjustable arms bar the rear traction arm would be good. also some locking collars for the rear subframe are a good buy.

try and buy the best coilovers you can as well. i've always found they make a massive difference to handling and ride quality. would reccomend CS2's for this. and if you can push for it then geomasters all round make a world of difference!

not sure about ARB's TBH. some people preffer stock ones. i'm about to upgrade over winter to some thicker ones and i'm looking forward to seeing what this does to the car.

p.s. get the car set up somewhere and do a search on here to find what setting you need.

Start with a 4 arm kit, that will give you the adjustment you need when lowering your car, and lock everything out to feel nice and solid

Full poly bush, replace the 15+ year old stock ones on the car. Upright (hub) bushes, subframe, diff and lower arm

Anti-roll bars are also over looked, soften up your damping for traction whilst reducing roll

Do you have a clutch sorted?

sorry i think everyones getting at the wrong idea here.

I only need suspenions arms. and steering related parts. hubs, arms ect. I wnat to replace nearly every part really. (to do with suspenion and steering)

Bushes :)

Subframe, diff and lower arms. The Geomasters come with poly bushes.

Also im ditching the anti roll bars as my suspenion will be rock solid so need for them.

You do understand the whole point of suspension movement don't you?!
If youre going to do that just remove the shocks n springs and weld scaffold bars in instead, no worries, no geometry changes due to compression, nothing, lol.

My list i know its over but will be worth it.

geos 2 with spacers
tein rod and tenions
full rear kit
Some sort of anti roll bars. (ive read up a bit more on them now)

Do driftworks do a christmas speical or after chritsmass speical?

that list above is wayy over 1k...

you'll still need to budget in some coilovers :)

edit, but yes it will be worth it.

Got coilovers bud already. Im more concentrating on handling/steering side of things as its more important than looks.

cheers
