I've got a 180sx with standard handbrake, hubs and brakes. I'm looking to upgrade to 5 stud hubs with Z32 calipers all round. Basically I've read all the forums and how-to-guides on line but there's so much contradicting information and there are also differences between the s13 and 180sx handbrake setups. Here is a run down of everything I have for the conversion. If anyone could shed some light on anything else I need that would be awesome.

Z32 TT front and rear calipers
Z32 TT front and rear discs and pads
Apex performance conversion brake lines (s13 - Z32)
S14a 5 stud hubs with front hub knuckles
S14 front LCA's
Z32 TT BMC (BM57)
Z32 handbrake setup (Handbrake cables, Handbrake shoes, Handbrake backing plates, All bolts, fixings etc)

Any help or info much appreciated!!

When I converted my UK S13 to 5 stud & Z32 brakes I used the standard handbrake cables, other than that I used all the parts you have on your list.

Yeah the UK s13 has the drum handbrake setup same as the z32 but the 180sx has the s14 style handbrake and therefore ive been told it needs converting

But then I'd still have to change all the handbrake anyway wouldn't I as the s14's are not the drum handbrake setup like the s13 or z32 either are they?

They all use a similar setup i.e. drum brakes. S14 is same as the R33. The rear uprights are identical on all of them. As far as I know it's just the cables might need a bit of faffing around with.

i've got the full handbrake setup and cables anyway so hopefully I can make it work. Should it all just bolt on or are there any tips on making it all fit

when i imported my ps it had s14 rear set up and s13 front (its like that from factory i believe)

first thing i did was 5 stud and sort the handbrake

i used ichiba hubs all round
s14a front calipers/discs/pads
r33 rear hubs/drums/calipers etc

its quite expensive but has been more than worth it
