a friend of mine is looking at buying this car but i noticed the Inlet manifold is diferant to the S14 one anyone know the answer

Its a red top sr20, more power so im guessing the inlet manifold is different to the black top we get in the uk spec s14.
 
Nope, sorry i was wrong. I think as far as the s13s go both colours are the same sort of power. Im sure that someone will confirm this for me?

yeah, its the same power. same bottom end, but different head (no vvt) and has a T25C turbo. buy it:)
 
Well if thats £840 in Japan you can add on a lot before it gets here.

Whatever it costs to de-reg and transport to docks in Japan
Say £500 shipping
+10% duty
+17.5% VAT

1750. Plus docking fees which I cant remember, and then MOT and registration putting it near 2k providing it goes ok. Thats assuming you dont need an agent to get you it who would also have a fee.

Nope, but using those numbers its probably going to cost nearer to 2.5k.

what year is it?? if it newer than 93 then it will need to be SVA'd, in which case i hope its standard, or easily revertable to standard or it wont go through... sorry to dampen your buy mate... :)
 
It's going to be around £1800 over here I reckon Nick. (I've just been quoted £1050 for a Celica GT4's tax and shipping etc)
