Due to financial difficulties I have decided to sell a few of my toys & due to lack of use & space this is having to go first.
This is my Datsun 100A registered on 1/4/1976 originally to Berkeley Datsun in Bristol & then to the first owner also in Bristol,my mates Nan on 9/7/76.She ran the car to the local shops until 1989 when it was taken off the road & stored as she was to ill to drive.
This is fast becoming a very rare car & have been informed that it may be the only surviving 100a with the tan & brown combo interior as nearly all are black on black.
The mileage is a genuine 8266 miles with services done:
19/11/76-@ 620 miles.
/10/78-@ 2998 miles.
8/6/81-@ 6480 miles.
Car then never got to it's next service @ 9000 miles.
Car is currently sorn but I will tax on sale, Mot runs out at the end of June.
I have the original sales receiept & all service records.
On 26/6/1978 the car was undersealed & cleaned, also with receipts.
The original engine had seized when I bought the car so I removed it stripped it & fitted a replacement block.
I have also carried out an extensive overhaul of the braking system, fuel, electric & cooling systems.
When I mot'd the car in June 2009 the Datsun still had on the original crossply tyres which I have since replaced but the spare is still original.
The interior is immaculate even to the point where someone commented on how good my re-upholstered interior looked,he was shocked to learn the truth & from memory my mate thinks the rear seat has never been sat in!!!!
There is a few bits of scabbing around the car but mainly on the front wing & the paint is quite thin in places.
I have a few spares & a nice set of 12'' replica minilites to sell with the car. There is also the original jack & tool bag.
I have loads of receipts for this car to prove costs, service book, owners manual & haynes manual all to go with it!
I have it advertised for 1800 pounds(pound sign doesn't work) but I would swap for a user friendly daily like this:
or I'm open to offers.
