1993 Black Stage 2 S13

Ed

Anti-Dibs
1993 Nissan 200SX Drift car. Slightly tatty to look at, but solid underneath with strong engine and gearbox. Basically mechanically sound, its "all go and no show". This is not a "drift look" car with mint paintwork and leather, its a drift car used as intended.

Made 258bhp @ 0.8bar at Weston Performance last month. Can run 1.0bar, but for engine longevity I've only run it at 0.8 on Bren device. Greg @ Weston was impressed and said it was a solid sounding CA18

Probably more stuff I've forgotten.

The bad bits (not many)

Slight oil leak, from sump gasket. Lose's about 100ml of oil per 1k miles. Doesn't burn any.

Apex coilovers do the usual knocking, although Bren sent me some rubber topmounts which apprently solve the problem, just haven't fitted them yet.

I did some DIY painting on the rear quarter panels to remove some surface rust from tyre de-lamination marks etc, and it came out slightly satin. I've polished it up, but theres still a fair amount of "orange peel affect". Doesn't bother me as its only gonna get taken off next time a tyre lets go at speed :D

The bootlid is solid, just not very pretty. No rust, as I took all that out, so not rotten as per usual with S13's. No rear wiper either.

N/S/F wing is pretty shafted after cliping several cones/tyres etc on practice days, and more recently some road works signs. Street drifting is bad. There is no damage to the steering/suspension, just the wing and bumper (see pic)

The front bumper is held on with cable ties, to save damage to car if the bumper clips anything solid on a practice day, it just comes away and gets cliped back on.

Windscreen washers have stoped working, will look into it this week.

Few cone/tyre marks/dents here and there, but it is a drift car that is used, not a K1 spec car.
Viewings welcome, just call me to arrange. 07799 767 268

£1895. 3rd and final price drop
Cheers,
Ed
PS. The "action shots" were taken before the DIY painting, and the headlights are up due to a dodgy earth, but this has now been fixed, and they go up and down fine.

Definatley for sale now mate :wack: :(

Going to Spain in April, so gotta save some readies and get a saloon/estate to get all my tools etc over there.

Aw man :(
Really sorted car and i know that Ed's sorted out a lot of teething issues, so should be running sweet now :)

I think the number of times Ed's changed his mind about this shows just how much he values it, and what it's worth

Good price too for the spec

Cheers Si :)

Yep, Lyme Regis. No pics though I'm afriad, as I broke my digi cam (I seem to remember it was during a passenger ride in Greg's SR20 Silvia at Westonzoyland :D )

I'll see if I can get any though.

Ooh! some good roads through there - but mind that bridge! I know a couple of people who've broken cars on the humpback...

It was actually at one of the TDSW events. So perfectly legal, not S1.

Cant say I've seen a bridge there though

By the way, I don't see the multichecker in those pics, do you still have it? Mine seems to have packed up.

Sorry chap, it was sold a while back to pay for more tyres for TDSW :( :dw:

Someone buy this car, it's hardcore

Too hardcore for some people though, I had an email from a guy on ebay saying that drift cars are as much about looks as they are about performance :euge: And that I should get it properly painted with some graphics etc if I want to sell it for any decent amount of money.

i didn't even bother replying.

Free bump for a sorted drift package

Carry on toward Bridgewater (I think - been a while since I went that way) and theres a windy bit that can be taken almost straight on the racing line but has a humpback bridge shortly after with lots of gouges in the road. Used to have a bit of fun going to see my Dad in various cars, throwing them around those bends (you can see if anything is coming for quite a way) And blasting down the straights across the levels. Only up to 60 though. I like my licence and life... Driving like a total loony is kept to private roads/airfields and track days.

Good luck with the sale!
