1jz vvti Rev issue

So o have a vvti jzx100 factory manual.
Got a rev issue 1st and second no problems, but if I go third gear and put my foot down it will catch full boost at roughly 2500 rpm stock boost only 0.8 bar, but it will hit 3k rpm then drop revs down to 2750 then bounce back up to 3k where it then doesn’t feel like it’s got the power it normally does, it pulls but it’s not is usually power I feel like, obviously could be coils and such but wondering if anyone’s had a similar issue before I spend out on coils plugs and whatever else that it may not be, cars not been in the country long had a service of oils filters plugs and such when it arrived thanks for any help!

might be worth posting this to the JX100/JZXWorld face book group. Does it still have the J-pipe? might be worth unplugging it and going for a little spin. Idle might be crap but if the rev issue is gone it might have a problem with the actuator sticking possibly.

Does it sound like a misfire, too? Had a similar issue with mine when trying to spin 3rd and it ended up just being bad plug gaps (it would spit and sputter and lose a ton of power).
