1JZ vvti solenoid help

After owning my chaser for 2 months it seems like it's developed the common problem of the vvti solenoid ticking. I can only faintly hear it now and the car works great still so I think I've caught it with plenty of time to save it just by giving it and the mesh filter a good clean. But if worst comes to worst does anyone know of a good supplier of a genuine Toyota/Lexus parts?

I know the part number (15330-46010 or 15330 46011) but so far it's looking like it's going to cost me around £70-100 for the real deal. And that's fine but like everyone I'd like to find one cheaper and/or from a reputable source.

I've seen the unbranded units out of china and I just don't trust something that cheap. Also since this isn't an urgent repair I don't want to end up fitting something that could just end up being worse.

Thanks!

I thought there were 2? , the vvti oil control valve and oil control valve .. they have filters and may just require cleaning out.

Just one valve on the JZ's as far as I know. Other engines that use this same part need two. The filter is external to it (the valve) on the banjo bolt feeding oil in. Getting to that is easy but it's not the cause if these failing at higher millage. From what I gather as the spring cycles over the years it weakens and starts to give in and leak a little when the oil pressure gets above a point.

Anyways to answer my own question the cheapest I've found was around £60 so not awful in the grand scheme of things.
