2.0 non turbo Volvo 940 se estate worth it?

Mates offered me a old boy owned 940 estate body is clean and no rot or rust 130k
11 months test, need a new clutch. Offered it me for £330
i want to get hold of the 2.3 turbo engine to go straight in

think it's worth it?

I bought my 2.3t 940 for £400 the other year. Which can run 180bhp for the price of a bleed valve. Mines now a reliable 250/300 for about £1k worth of parts. To conclude I wouldn't bother with it because its hassle you don't need when the turbo version is so cheap!

Id agree with the above - ive got a 940 turbo at the moment and for not a lot of money outlay you can get some reliable power. The turbos can go for about £500 anyway so add some more on, proper sleeper of a car... No one expects you to pass them sideways with a cupboard in the back...
