2 door AE86 Levin for sale - Poss Breaking

Ok all.

Cut a long story short...

i took in my new AE86 Levin this week from Japan. It arrived at the dock and wouldnt start. It looks to be an electrical problem and I just havent the time to fix it as I am currently doing my KE70 and I have overspent on alot of thngs since purchasing the ae86.

the plan was to buy it, drive it over the summer and resell it on until my ke70 was completed but I need to sell it as it is now.

So the car wont start (not making a spark) and has the following specs.

1983 AE86 Levin Saloon
127000km
1.6 16v TVIS Bluetop engine
uprated performance manifold
Performance under axle exhaust
HKS Musroom air filter
TRD front 22mm Anti Roll bar
TRD Rear 22mm Anti Roll bar
Adjustable panard rod
Uprated LSD (unsure of make)
Uprated front and rear suspension
Bride Zeta Bucket seat
red harness (driverside)
FRP sideskirts
FRP Bonnet with bonnet pins
Kouki front splitter on Zenki front bumper
Blitz Vacum gauge
Blitz Oil Temp gauge
uprated steering wheel
later spec head lights with fog light brackets behind grill (no fog lights though)
tinted rear windows



Like I said I have not driven the car but overall its is very good.

the bad points are as follows.

1. It wont start - poss electrical problem.

2. paint work not great as this was obviouslly an ex drift/track car. I knew this when I bought it in auction in Japan as I dont mind about bodywork paint - I like to drive a car not polish it! :D

3. There is som rust in the boot floor near the back panel. Its nothing structural but will need to be sorted. The rest of the car (sill, pocket arches etc are all good, and the underneath is very clean and rust free, just for some reason its has rust in the boot floor and is not the best repair to be honest.

4. Inside again the car is ok - as the pass seat is from a Kouki levin and does not match the reat of the interior, plus, the dash has a few cracks and rips in it. nothing bad or anything but would like to point that out.

5. The cars will be sold with STANDARD 13 in steel wheels. I am keeping the current wheels on the car!

Car has not tax, mot and is NOT reg in the uk.

I am selling it straight as it came from the docks

Offers please - Im not looking for a large amount as its not the mintest car but with a bit of work can be a great car and is alot cheaper if you dont have a big budget and want to get a ae86.

I dont wana take ny orders for parts just yet but whn I do, I will try and remember who wanted what etc.

just letting you know that in the future this might be broken.
Not because is damaged just as I would like alot of the parts for the KE70 and its easy way to mek money back :D

I got a ITB conversion to pay for and a few fiddly parts too.

otherwise I would just sort the car out. But would rather spend what time I have doing the KE and just let someone else take the ae86.

I love it long time and need to get my arse in gear with it but too much work and to many hlidays abroad stp me from doing so!! :D

Life is tough! :D

Like I said before, the car will 75% be broken unless someone offers me what I want, after that, It would be better for me to break as I am after a few parts off t too, and I should do well with selling parts.
 
Fucking hell dude! Not again!

I here by ban you from buying any other AE86's! Id love to see your bank account! Do they do £20k overdrafts??? lol

£3k! Fuck that! Just spend an hour on it, make it run and drive the fucker! It will be better than any KE if you ask me!
 
mine is the same colour as your Adam but yours look mint and mine is tatty.

Bro B, you can have a go in mine when it's finished and it just like a AE with 4 doors.
 
Yeah i appriciate they drive the same! But in the looks department id have an AE86!
Unless it was a 2 door KE like what Mr Oli used to have! I dont go for the 4 door stuff! :no:
 
lol I understand why people keep making comments about how quickly you seem to loose interest with cars.

Sounds like a 30 min fix for anyone who has a clue about cars - can you seriously not spare 30mins? I am mad busy with a trillion things and I can make time for anything I want, if I want it hard enough.

Highly likley it was driven onto the boat it arrived on, so it wont be anything massive. You already know there is no spark so thats narrowed it down alot!
 
Exactly Jimbo! And AE86 wiring is as simple as it can get!

My guess would be, if it ran before it got on the boat, the battery went flat on the boat, they jump started it, but put the terminals on wrong and popped a couple of fuses! If the 10/15A EFI fuse goes, then there is no spark! If the ALT fuse goes, then there will be no spark etc!

Just check it out for feck sake adam! Not sure why im giving advice! I should buy it from you and then sell it for millions when its fixed! :D
