Right, I bought this a few months ago as an 'inbetween car' after I sold my 180sx and was looking for something else, I've got another car now (eunos roadster ) so it's just sat on me mums drive!
I've put 4500 miles on this car since february and it hasnt missed a beat!
Details:
1991 BMW 318i LUX
Nice and comfy
130k ish miles
All oil and fluids changed less than 3k ago, new rear brake shoes
115-ish bhp, so will drift if you want, would benefit from stiffer suspension and a welder though
Good on fuel
TAX & MOT untill end of August
BMW service history + handbook
Standard apart from 15'' BBS (RA??) Alloy wheels, as fitted to the VW Corrado G60, so worth really good money on ebay. 1 centre cap missing though.
Minimal rust, chip on rear arch, and a bit of bubbling under the drivers mirror. see pics:
Other than that bodywork is really solid, all arches are good, spotless underneath, couple of scratches on the rear quarter, odd carpark ding here and there, but pretty mint for an old bimmer
Bad bits:
Passenger side seat wont adjust and is stuck in position, so has a slight 'gangsta lean' to it
Scrape on sunroof where it retracts into the roof.
brakes could be better, fronts stop fine, handbrake is terrible, probably just needs adjusting + setting up, WILL stop you though
Usual 318i noisy tappets, doesnt do it all the time, just sound like they're sticking a bit, and not got any louder since I've had it
Needs tracking at the front, not too bad, just not been arsed to go get it done yet
Its been stood for a month and the battery's gone flat, but thats probably because I left the sidelights on over night by accident last time I used it!
Crappy clarion cd player!
Would make a perfect daily driver or a good budget driftcar! All it needs is some 70 quid lowering springs, a welded diff and you're away! I'll even throw in a Haynes manual and an old tatty bucket seat for free if you want it!
Its hard to find an e30 thats this solid these days, so this would be a perfect shell for a 325 conversion or even an m3 powered beast
Offers!
car is in Bradford, West Yorkshire!
