2 x Apple Powerbooks and B&W Speakers

Hi guys, I'm in North London (islington)... happy to post anywhere in the country. A few people on here know me who I've bought cars and parts off that I'm sure will vouch that I'm not a dodgy geezer lol.

If you give me an email address I will happilly send a few pics. I'm asking £300 each. Can post out special delivery with insurance etc for £20 (it actually costs £19.14p from the post office)

Can do cash / cheque / bank transfer etc... avoiding paypal as they are cheap enough already and would rather not let paypal dig their dirty little paws into my pockets!

That 15" PB is cheeeeeeeapp. I've got a 12" PB with only 768 MB RAM and it still runs as fast as the day I bought it, great computers if you look after them.

not too clued up on apple comps but do they run windows at all? any info on apples in general after a laptop to run nissan consult on but unsure what to go for

cheers sim

and if you could post up a pic off the actual item that would be great interested in the 15" one

You'll need an Intel based Mac to run Windows, either using Boot Camp (can choose to boot Windows rather than Mac OSX) or Parallels (run Windows as an application within Mac OSX).

Macs are ace and you wont go far wrong with either of those G4 machines for typically what most people do (web, email, documents) etc.

I made the jump about 1 year ago now - its fast and 'just works'. I find I spend more time actually achieving things than installing patches and wondering if its going to break LOL. Battery life pi$$es all over my HP dual core jobbie - I get typically 5 hours from the macbook which is stunning all things considered.

Virtual Box is a great free alternative to Parallels if you are on intel macs (even does seemless mode - where the windows windows appear on your mac desktop). I use this every day to run linux on my 13" macbook in the development environment at work. Also check out NeoOffice - completely free Mircosoft Office compatible based upon Open Office.

i know sod all about powerbooks but i know a quality speaker when i hear one :D

i have the same B&W's in black
