20 yrs old, 2 yrs NCB. Can I get insured on a Toyota Chaser?

I will have 2 yrs NCB this year and will be 20 before that, looking to get a nice toyota chaser with a 1jz, turbo and manual. Wondering if I could get insured on one being 20 years old and having 2 years ncb, I have accepted the dreadful fact that a skyline will be too expensive in terms of cost and insurance until I'm 25+ so have been looking at the idea of having a Toyota Chaser as my next daily; they aren't as popular thus the *name* shouldn't give off red warning signs to the insurance companies like skylines and supras do.

Problem is, most chasers I find in the UK with manual have been modded that is in my budget, therefore mods are most likely gonna have to be declared and raising the premium.

So if anyone on the forum has a similar experience ie. 20 yrs old, chaser/soarer w/1jz engine
I'd appreciate if anyone can give tips to this.

Some extra info:
Clean licence, living in london BUT moving to northampton in a few months so will have a better postcode.
Why 1jz? Because its just jz life and also I would want to eventually do some skids in the near future.
I will be studying and working and dailying the car.

Thanks for reading.

:D Well he could have been told all sorts of shite on here, made his mind up one way or another without any proper information and been completely wrong.

I was 22 when I bought my chaser, and if you don't declare everything they will fuck you over. And if you do. Bare in mind j had 4 years no claims at this point almost 5. They still wanted 2500-3000 a year cause if your going to daily it you'll be doing 15k miles easy. And unless you tell them it's worth fuck all or your earning big money theres probably not a chance in hell you will even get touched

@mattvenni1 Cheers for comment mate, yeh I have been putting chasers in price comparison sites and I'm getting around £2k insurance which isn't bad with my dad on it, *however* no mods declared on them. So I am hoping when the time comes I can look at more specialized car insurance such as sky.

I dont think Sky insure people under the age of 21 im afraid. Also, theres no way you are finding a chaser on comparison sites.

MaccyD is right
Fbisunny - only way your going to get touched is if you pay a stupid amount or get someone dodgey to insure it with nothing declared in which case the majority of the time they ask for pictures as proof like i said if you want to discuss futher either pm me or have a look on JZmafia.com and pm me on there (MRODOC)
