£200 Budget Bucket Seat

Want a bucket seat for my S14, don't want to pay £rape for scene tax brands like Bride etc.

So far I've found two that fit the budget and look half all right.

Can anyone comment on how wide they are, how they fit in an S14, any reccomendations they might have? I'm 6'1 and about 34" waist (so quite big, certainly not a skinny guy).

They actually look quite nice!? Only come in that size though? Don't get me wrong, I'm not fat, and I'm only 13 stone but some of the "Small" buckets I've sat in have been extremely tight/uncomfortable!

Looks very good value for money, have you got one of these yourself or just sat in one?

yeah they are pukka for the money, only thing is they aint fia approved which is why they are cheaper i think. quite a few people run them and they do look nice. i sat in one at a show, but i do have a cobra monaco in my 14.
Its older leather look one on some universal runners then couple brackets to bolt into the original bolt holes. Personally i prefer the look off the corbeau style bucket seats but the cobra does the job at the moment. Really roomy if anything a bit to big for me (32 waist) and managed to get it sitting low.

I fitted a Sparco Sprint in my MX5 on the weekend. I'm similar size (6', 13st, 34-36" waist) and fit in fine, but the top/shoulder area is pretty tight. The base is fine though.
 
Depends what you are after.

If you need FIA then look at cobra monacos, sparco sprint etc.

I had a corbeau club sport XL, my whale ass fit in it perfectly was proper pleased with that, tried a sparco sprint before and didnt really fit, waist wise was a squeeze but even more odd was the shoulder area was tiny, was sitting on the wings rather then being supported by them.

so if you have broad shoulders but a small waist id skip the sprint.

Cobra monaco is another great option i fit in those fine and as i said, im a whale.
