One of the GTO's iv got at the minite and is taking up valueble space :(

These are 3litre V6 Twin Turbo'd Engines....4WD AND 4WS!

missing parts....
Engine, gearbox, transfer box, front driveshafts are missing. Some interior has been removed altho i will chuck it all back in if required?(passenger front seat sold already). Window Regulators/Arms have been removed. So as the Exhuast and afew niggly bits.
Everything else is still there! The actual car is straight, and hasnt excactly done many miles. I still have the Logbook. Dusty inside. and is now currently in a Heated garage covered up.

£200 BARGAIN OF THE YEAR

Break it for Spares and make £££'s, or Use it for your Winter Project?

Most parts availible, but turbos and manifolds not included,

Bloody good for what it is.
Ideal shell for someone to do like im doing to the Chaser now, ie sling a V8 in it.
Simple on such a complete car with an engine that needs almost no electrics.

I dont like GTOs, but im not stupid, if I didnt have the Chaser id just get this to use as the base car, at this money itd be ridiculous to use anything else.
 
the TT has got to be one of the best cars iv ever had, ba***rd to work on tho.
swaped out 3 engines in the time i had mine. if i had the cash i would buy this in a shot.
there not hard to make full time RWD and when they are they are lethal...bargain to anyone... a good engine with everything, turbos etc: will cost 1k. 1200 for a supercar.. hmmmm ill see if my girl will lend me the money :-P

Good money for a comparatively special car. Still going to weigh as much as a lighthouse though.
 
^^^ true' they do tend to understeer, shed loads of weight on the front end.
mine being full time RWD made a big difrence, but' as above theres no way of getting out of the whole weight issue.
 
hated mine when i had it so boring to drive, heavy, understeery and doesnt feel as fast as it should which is a shame cos i think they look fantastic.

thats why i suggested the evo engine and stroker kit, would save a bit of weight upfront and with that and making one RWD i recon it would be awesome,
 
1400odd KG from what I understand, less than a GTR does anyhow.

And 150+ kg of that will be the 4wd bits it wont need anymore.
100kg+ of interior and luxuries too.

No reason for this car to be any more front heavy than anything else.

Heavy and understeer is only an issue if you was going to build a proper GTO out of it, and if you did, you are a gay.
 
At the end of the day, why we talking about it? its a bargain, so get you moneys out :D lol

Iv owned afew of these, but currently have 3 inc this. Swapped, moved, broken, screamed at, and fixed nearlly all of them. My white one (which is the MR type edition) currently has a very special lump sat in it, being melted by a gt42rs single lol. Broke the geabox on it, and dont wanna pay ££££ for a new built one :(
And with it being the MR Edition, its slitley that lighter. no rws, sound deadening etc

TBH they are good cars, dont matter what other people say, they have LOADS of gadgets, great looks, and they Will kick out sideways :P

Im happy to give the new owner any advice or help on the project.

think you'll find they range from 1,400 – 1,700 kg, 1400 for the MR version and 1700 for most of the others :nod:



yep definately a bargain and with a bit of money throw at it i recon it'd be great they look so fricking cool :smokin:
 
to stavros' the main reson its heavy fella is because of the 4WD transfer box' weather or not you make it RWD there's no getting away with it as the transfer box has to stay.
the engine is a big old lump of a V6 with twin turbos, the gearbox carries a lot more weight than most also. so its realy not that easy.....
mine had the front drive shafts taken out, 2 or 3 sprockets or whatever you want to call them out of the gearbox, i took the whole aircon system out, back end of the car was totally stripped the list is endless. at the end of the day they are a very hard car to balance. mine was running near the 500BHP mark so keeping the back end out was not a problem. i found that my understeer came from heavy track driving.
not a problem when you want to go sideways but a bitch when you want to go fast around bends. as i found out at brands...but in despite of all that they are a awesome car to have. stock engines run 300BHP give or take. with as littal mods as fuel pump and bleed valve you can turn the boost up to 13psi projuicing power outputs of around 340BHP. its a shame they where so underrated in there time, owning at least one in your lifetime is a must. :-) mine was the VR4 model

Robbs- MR was still all metal though, so its piece of piss to get the others down to less than that number, which was my point.

Boo- And like I said, if not using a GTO engine etc, which is your best bet, you dont need any of that shit. Its a perfectly good rolling shell to put whatever in it. But fuck making it remotely like they are as standard.

agreed' there's plenty space to put just about anything in there. would be good to someone take this on as a project.
 
Jesus fekkin christ. WHY has nobody had this? I WILL have it if it hasnt sold by end of december. And I'm not even joking.
