Hi all,
For sale is my [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]E46 3-Series 323 Ci Coupe. It is Topaz Metallic blue and has a full grey leather interior, and has 129k miles on the clock. This is a 2.5 liter petrol engine. Around town it will get you 29mpg, on A roads you will get 33mpg, or on a long motorway run you will get 36mpg.
It's got an open diff, so you'll need to get welding if you want to drift it...
It is MOT'd until Jan next year, and taxed until the end of June. It's got a full service history, but is just about due for another service now.
It has cruise control, and steering wheel controls for the stereo. It has a BMW Business stereo with CD multichanger. It has electric everything.
In the last few months i've had the following work done:
New front-to-rear brake lines fitted @ £250
New Thermostat fitted @ £95
New Lower Control Arm bushes fitted @ £120
The bodywork is in pretty good condition for its age... there are a few minor scratches, nothing deep, and one very very minor dent on the rear wheel arch. Other than that the paintwork is good. The interior quality is alright... the leather is in good condition, but there are some scratches on the interior ashtray cover . Im sure this could be replaced for a tenner.
Currently there are 2 problems with the car... first of all, the airbag light is on. I have had the code read, and i get the error '01/01 Control Unit Fault, A/D Convertor'. From my own research i think that it needs to get the control unit reset at a garage...
The second problem has only just started, and appears to be a sticky caliper... the car has been sat for over a month as i have a new car, and i drove it today and there is an intermittent juddering feeling after i've applied the brakes hard...I think it's the right rear caliper. This will need to be looked at.
Its on ebay now for £2600 buy it now, and there are 47 people watching it. The ebay auction ends on tueday.
I actually paid £3k for the car 5 months ago, and have spent around £600 maintaing it, so £2600 is a good price i think. Im located in Macclesfield.
