Unfortunatly my daily is going up for sale.
Change of circumstances with work now means I am doing more miles than originally thought, so the Ford's up for sale.
Its a 2004 (on a 54) Ford Mondeo ST220.
Dark Metallic Grey.
94k.
3 Litre V6.
6 Speed Manual.
Heated, Electric adjustment, leather Recaro's.
Sony Radio with 6 disk changer built into the unit, with steering wheel controls, and Aux I-Pod/3.5mm input socket.
Cruise Control.
Auto Lights.
Auto Wipers
Folding Wing Mirrors.
The usual Ford front heated screen, awesome this time of year :smitten:
Full Service History
I picked the car up last Feb/March time on about 58k ish (cant remember exactly) and its now on 94k.
It was MOT'd last week, and sailed through, an advisory being the front brakes are getting low, but I have a new set of disks and pads to go on, I just havent got round to doing them yet
It has 6 months Tax as of the begining of the month.
Its no slouch, and is a hoot to drive when your in the mood, if not just slip it into 6th, and cruise along in utter comfort.
I have had 30MPG out of it all day, every day. If your really trying high 30's/low 40's are easily reached.
When I got the car, the jacking point covers were missing, so I ordered replacements at a cost of £20 per corner! and they were sprayed and fitted.
I also got rid of the standard airbox, as a) it was too quiet, and b) suffered a fair bit of heatsoak! One of these was purchased new and fitted Pipercross VIS kits, Velocity Intake Systems
The standard gearknob was replaced with an alluminium one from ford.
Bad points. Well the wheels could do with a refurb, there a bit tatty, and it seems to be a common problem on the ST's.
There is also a small dent in the rear nearside quater, where some delightful individual decided to go into the side of it when it was parked up at a friends house, and drive off leaving no details I've had several quotes of £200-£300 to fix, but I havent had the time or a spare car to use whilst its been done.
The front bumper has also started to split and could do with some TLC.
I will get some pictures of how the car is now, and of the above damage, but its currently filthy and I havent had chance to clean it. So here are the pics of when I first picked it up, and showing what it could look like with a bit of elbow greese
Price £4k.
