£7000 ono
Owned the car since 2005
Engine:
Fully rebuilt by dp motorsport in 2008, approx 10k miles ago with the following highlights
HKS forged pistons
HKS metal head gasket
ACL bearings
Brand new Nissan crank shaft
Rebuilt cylinder head
New Garret gt28r turbo
Tubular manifold
Stainless exhaust from turbo back
Front mount intercooler
Battery relocated to boot
Oil cooler
Oil filter relocation with thermostatic oil cooler bypass
10-blade GKtech viscous fan
VW/Audi coil pack conversion
HKS EVC 6 boost controller
Horsham developments stage 1a ECU upgrade
Transmission:
No whines or crunches from gearbox
Lightened flywheel XTD I think
Exedy paddle clutch and pressure plate
Short shifter, cheap one
Cusco 2-way diff in ABS casing, ABS still works. Not too clunky but you know the diff is there and locks great
Suspension:
Driftworks alignment arms front and back, rubber not rose joints. Fitted a number of years ago but not seized, just don't look new
HSD monopro coilovers, not in the best condition but not seized and don't clunk or bang
Brakes:
R33 brembo 4-pot front calipers and disks
Z32 2-pot rear calipers with vented disks
Hydraulic handbrake in original position
No drums have been fitted or the cables
Interior:
Limited edition auto meter carbon mechanical gauges on a-pillar, Oil pressure and boost pressure
Water temp and oil temp on dash
Fixed drivers bucket seat
Cloth interior
Dished steering wheel
Seat belts front and back
Exterior
s14a front end, the rest is standard
Mesh blest JDM alloys with hubcentric spacers. 17x8 front and 17x9 rears
I've got a set of work meister s1 9" front and 10" rears but they're in poor condition and a pair of stern alloys 17x9 that can go with it. Also various parts knocking about incl a nistune ecu that'll be in the boot.
Now for the sad bit. Its been a track car for around 5 years until 2018 when life got in the way so it sat in my garage gathering dust. When the dreaded covid turned up the roads were so quiet I put it back on the road, put the interior back in and used as the daily (I was a key worker and work was 8 miles away so made sense ). Didn't miss a beat for 500 miles ish except the oil temp and water temp wouldn't come up to running temperature. I assumed it was the low temp thermostat fitted for track use so changed it for a warmer one and also serviced it and fitted new plugs and the vw coilpack conversion I'd had waiting to be fitted for a few years. Since then I cant stop it overheating. It'll idle for 20 minutes plus in the garage and be fine but the second you take it out for a drive after a mile or so it starts getting hot. I put the old one back in and the same. Tried bleeding it over and over, checked water pump and did a headgasket sniff test and all seems fine.
Since this happened I've also lost the facility of a 'friendly' MOT tester so lack of CATS and hydraulic handbrake plus poor headlight alignment means I'll struggle to get a test on it as well hence its up for sale. I've no mynadd for sorting it anymore and moved onto a 1uz IS200 project that's got my attention.
Because of the above it'll need trailering. Depending on distance I could also deliver it as I have a transporter trailer but would need fuel money for the round trip.
Any questions just ask and viewing is no issue. I have a two post ramp so the underneath can be seen. It has had the sills welded but not your average job with all three layers in there replaced with steel plate instead of thin tin.
The paint is in poor condition with a few shades of red and the pictures show the one rusty arch, the rust by the rear side window and the rust at the bottom of the drivers door. The front sills are a bit crushed from poor jacking choices but it hasn't been crashed, the rear quarters are original and not full of filler. It is a UK car and red from factory.
Cash on collection please or bank transfer and the funds would need to be cleared before the car goes or if I'm delivering it.
