When you say "Built to a high spec"

It would probably help to list what that spec is on the engine, as that is basically what is going to make the difference on price, reliability, if its worth it, potentially a hand grenade etc
Oh and who built the engine, miles on the block, close up of the dyno sheet, what gearbox and diff its running

GLWS

Putting the ramp arms on the sill of the car with this age killed me too and above if your asking this much put some effort in n warrant the money your asking buy describing the car, it's parts n work , that adside looks clean n not mullerd glwts

Either way, he did, and it didnt fold over or crumple up into the sill as it lifted. Seems like pretty good evidence of a very solid shell.... unlike yours it seems lol

Yes yes because I’ve given any indication of the condition of my motor, which is clean as fuck and has lovely straight sill lips. Pet hate of mine when muppets, who according to op are professionals, can’t even jack a car correctly. So suck a fat one lad

Someone sounds a little defensive about their rusty shell XD

I think sills are originally designed to be the jacking point, its where your factory scissor jack is designed to locate in fact. Its just when they get old and tired they are less likely to be able to support the weight due to corrosion and previous abuse..... like your one

You think wrong then sir. FSM shows the jacking point. Sills jacks are just a last resort thing.

Is that last line what they told you about your sphincter ani externus, it sounds like you've rehearsed it? ;)

Scissor jacks are designed for roadside emergencies only, the sill is a last resort for sure. There are plenty of safer jacking points on the car designed for lifting equipment. Using a lift on the sills does seem retarded but it does show the sills were good at some point?

If you want to jack 25+ year old nissans on their sills using a scissor jack for carrying out work under the car, you're either crazy or have a crush fetish :alschaser
