MY mates daily drive for a while!
easilly enough torque and power to drift in the dry and plenty of speed due to the mid engine formart!
only weighs 1080aprox! silly in the wet!
sexual sounds from the V6! reliable and quick! and still comfortable!
would be savage stripped out!

Wot ever next, with standardish looking tail pipes and a 2.0 16v non turbo engine lid, sweet!

How many miles she done chassis and engine? any of the suspension uprated for extra weight of the engine?

Someone needs to buy that, and put it on ITBs with the trumpets sticking out the deck lid.

Thatd be the coolest MR2 ever.
 
I remember speaking to a Dent repair dude that told me about these, apparently everything lines up perfectly and all connections are identical, he reckons Toyota had plans to sell a 3litre MR2 from the showroom but chopped it. He also said that it goes like the turbo but is much easier to drive with the smoother power delivery, nice car!
 
If i had the money i would have this within a heart beat!

The engine weighs 20Kg heavier than the standard 4 pot lump and is out a of a Later camry the best models to get are ones which started off as turbos as the gearbox is stronger the extra weight of the engine doesnt affect the suspension or braking performance as long as its donor was a Mr2 turbo just makes it feel abit better planted. The Torque curve on these things is literally vertical and somewhere in the region of 250ftlbs i think that may be wrong.

Cool car. A V6 MR2 won the Sports Compact Car modified car of the year competition they have every year a while back. It kicked ass.
 
HAHAHAHAHA That looks exactly like a real ferrari, the only thing that gives it away is the headlamp issues, that all fieros had, from the factory...
 
not the first v6 i have heard of to be fair few lads off the twobrutal site have them in mk1 mr2's ultimate stealth.
also griffo and i have a very good friend with a bright pink mk1 mr2 2.0 turbo and to date it is the fastest mk1 mr2 on the drag strip in the uk bursting the qm in 12.3 secs without using his dual stage nos that keeps blowing his driveshafts/gearboxes lol

reckon it should sell for that much to be honest good base for someone
