320i for drifting?

would a stock bmw e36 320 be fine for a beginner drifter or i the lake of horsepower going to be a problem?
im going to install a turbo later but i want to learn to drift properly first.

Absolutely fine mate. Know some people who still drive 320's without additional power and can still pedal better than most. Any more power than 170bhp for learning you're going to pick up bad habits imo.
