350z accelerating problems. please help!!

i have a manual 03 350 touring. So to the problem, its every time i go to somewhat heavy accelerate its seems to go in to a kind of neutral than catches. i feel like its either clutch/clutch needing adjusted/transmission. Another issue im having is everytime i go to 5th it grinds unless i let the rpm drop to around 2000rpm. if any one has any info it is much appreciated!
 
Neutral like its revving its tits off? Almost certainly the clutch, stick it in 6th and drive up a hill, if the revs go up faster than the speed you need a new one :)

Grinding in 5th sounds worrying but could be related, you never know.
 
It will drop revs and then start accelerating? Sounds like a throttle issue if so, get an ODB on it or failing that knock down to your local Nissan garage and ask them to look at it. :thumbs:
 
pretty sure i need to replace the throttle body. codes said it was a tps but i guess those are sold as a package thing in the throttle body
