4age 20v cams

Hi Matt,

The one's listed are for "4A-G(Z)E".... i.e. 4A-GE and/or 4A-GZE. Same fitment.

HKS don't make cams for the 20v engine I'm afraid, sorry!
 
We can get you some CATcams, same as I'm fitting into my 20v.. They seem awesome quality. Let us know if you want us to get you a price.
 
Price comparison between the HKS and catcams for 16v would be interesting.. converting to carbs and crazy cams soon!
 
Ah yes I'm being a bit slow, as Phil said we recently became a CATcams dealer. There's a variety of options, all of which are £645 for a pair....

They're more aggressive by design than the average JDM cam so for example a 250 degree cam would be more like what a japanese cam quotes as 260... it's all about the duration at 1mm of valve lift, they tend to ramp up more quickly than HKS, Tomei, etc, so the 1mm of lift duration is higher while what is commonly known as the duration is a lower number.
 
We need to work through the listings and add them but if I were to say the pricelist has 4200 lines it would explain the size of the job to you... :wack:

They make everything pretty much, you name it, we can get it.
 
Kind of an over simplistic question there to be honest dude but I guess 10% wouldn't be an unrealistic claim.

It depends on a whole lot of other things!

But yeah they'd be more comparable to a 272.
 
ok thanks bud. im just going off billzilla page about how 272 with the correct mods (ported head etc) can get you close to 160hp but thats there upper limit

yeah phil i saw you bought some CATcams for you 86 the other day, i just bought mine last week, the kid said its the one you wanted to buy from birmingham its got the carbon wrap roof.



so if i wanted some CATcams you could get me a set in? as they aint in the shop section atm do i just paypal you some money or what?

what cams would you recommend on a daily driver. my head is Paz's old one which is polished ported and has shim under bucket fitted etc i have got a OER / SK Sanyo ITB kit and vems and plan on going to around 8500rpm limit so 170-180 hp would be nice but again its a daily

I'd be really interested in some 4age 20v bits too, are the cams in the shop now? Anything else available for the 20v? Rods, pistons etc etc??? Thanks.
