Not "strictly" a Drift video in the sense of most of those posted on here but the car is 4-wheel drifting in many places on this track and I know the GTR32 is a big favorite on here.

It's a couple of laps from the end of a training day I did with a client in a 620bhp GTR32, we ran it at about 550bhp for most of the day but wound it up to 620 at one stage to put some manners on a BMW racecar that really didn't want us to pass.

There is some "direction" going on as we lost some video mid-afternoon and wanted to get a good lap in. By this time we'd already done 6-7hrs worth of explanation and demonstration so it was just a few "prods", also some general conversation so the driver didn't (couldn't) think too hard about his driving (as this is the best way to get the best out of yourself).

Here is the video.

And some pics.

I don't know much about the spec of the car but we were running Kumho V7000s, 265s

Didn't notice any 4wheel drifts barring a few small corrections but he was going very well, nice.

SO many (almost all) track videos bore the life out of me as they really not going well, but he was flying to be fair, no doubt helped a lot by your instruction, nice one.

Pretty sure I know the car from Bath way actually, though been a year or two since I last remember it.

The guy lives London way but I think has only had the car a couple of years so could be the same one. He was the one to put the Calsonic livery on it.

In truth the car is in 4-wheel drifts on most of the fast corners but fairly subtle ones. If you can hear anything from the tyres through the corners it's sliding at 8deg slip or more. Not the case always on videos as squeal could be from one tyre/end only.

He was a pretty decent driver already. He did the Jim Russell 7-day course at Donington in 1997 and won his first race (course graduates race) and has done some racing before. He was about 5 secs quicker by the end of the day though as we were then maximising the grip and weight through the corners, plus taking some faster (although many would say less conventional) lines.

The drifts had gone from being power oversteer on the way out to entry drfts, weight shifts and controlled (most of the time) exits.

Was an awesome car, have always loved the shape but having driven other high-powered 4-wheel drive cars I thought it might be compromised by the 4wd but it only came in when we were well out of shape on the exits, plus it was switchable.

It does need more traction .. maybe something like this ...
