Recently imported for me through Newera imports, I have attached a copy of their description from when I bought the car.

Since I bought it with big plans, things have changed, and so my pride and joy must, unfortunately, go
I've given it a simple service, with fresh oil and filter, air filter, and also new plugs, none of them actually needed doin in the end, but cos of the stupid low mileage and the fact its a rotary I just wanted to make sure everything was right from the get go. It's never run on anythin other than Shell's finest, originally Optimax, now V-Power?!?
This is the second FD RX I've owned, and this is by far and away a much better car than the first one I owned, not sure if that's a sign of how tight this one is or how much I got skanked on my first one!!
Since I bought this car the only things that have changed from the description by Newera are that the Climate control sometimes goes a bit senile and does what it likes, not often but no real pattern? I have had the control unit checked and there was a small amount of corrosion found a couple of the contacts of one of the control chips, these were cleaned and the unit re-assembled with the usual optimism that it will have cured it, but unfortunately not!!! It may be an earth but I haven't got to checking it yet.
Also the exhaust now blows, but seen as how an original is stupid money and a much cheaper, but also much louder performance exhaust would be the only no-original part, I thought I would leave the decision of what to do up the new owner.
I've tried to be open and honest with the description and should someone want to offer in the region of £8000 then I'll also throw in an Apexi ECU with FC Commander unit from my first RX that I never got round to fitting and mapping for this one.

This is only the 2nd very low mileage RX-7 that we have managed to source in over 2 years that we can offer complete with very low genuine mileage condition! This car's covered just 15,563 genuine miles from new!
This RX-7 is in stunning original condition. It's a rare Type X 5 Speed Manual model, which includes: Original lightweight Leather trimmed sports seats (Dark red in colour - Please note our digital camera tends to exaggerate reds to look brighter than in reality), with matching rear seats, carpet, door trims and headlining, electric steel sunroof, Bose Sound system complete with factory
fitted bass system and CD/Cassette/Radio, Driver's SRS airbag, Cruise control, PAS, E/W, E/M, A/C, 3 channel ABS, original fitted mats. The original tool kit is complete and unused and includes the optional additional tool tray completely unused. Note the Bass reflex system can be removed as/when needed to make more boot space. The rear parcel shelf has holes either side to allow the bass speaker system to protrude through.
few small imperfections to the exterior as described below (To be repaired as part of UK preparation).
The engine is a genuine low mileage unit that has clearly not been tuned or pushed hard during its life. Oil has been recently changed and the car shows all signs of having been regularly serviced

(Spark plugs are also nearly new). On older RX-7's the air pumps usually fail, especially on higher mileage examples - this one is still working just as it should be. Another good sign of a genuine low mileage example.
We test drove this RX-7 thoroughly for handling, acceleration and braking, and found it drove absolutely faultlessly. Engine and a complete mechanical integrity check was carried out. There are no faults at all to report and the car feels tight and rattle free. With a car of such low weight, standard power is plenty with 0-60 in 5 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph. Handling is also amongst the very best available combined with double wishbone alloy suspension as standard. This RX-7 twin turbo pulls very strongly - with good idle, no noticable flat spots, good strong brakes, good clutch, etc. It drives much like a new car and performance is excellent, once again reminding us of how good these cars are, even as standard. No smoke on start up and it idles well, giving an excellent spread of power throughout the rev range, with strong power from around 2,500 rpm all the way to the red line. Perfect.
Also noticed the suspension is firm and new in feel. No rattles at all, when traveling over bumps. Feels very tight. The interior is also in completely original condition. With no significant wear to the seats, aside from very minor creasing to the vertical outer bolster, no wear to steering wheel, pedals or gear knob, these further confirm this car's genuine mileage. When sitting in the driver's seat, it's firm - feeling like new. It's noticeable the paintwork on this car's all original - The doors, wings and rear quarters show no signs of previous repairs, so they're nice and straight - as the car came from the factory. As pictures will show, the exterior is in excellent condition throughout. As with all the cars we stock, to check it thoroughly we washed and checked the bodywork on this car and found the following faults to report: There are some scratches to the n/s front bumper corner. Finally, on the roof, driver's side, rearwards there's a couple of small (2cm) scratches. On the driver's door there's a 3cm scratch that's been touched in. On the passenger side there's a tiny pin dent on the door. If the full package is chosen, these will all be repaired to high quality so they're not visible and the front bumper will be resprayed also but faults are mentioned and photographed to clearly depict the condition of the car as it is prior to repair.
This RX-7 has clearly been hardly used throughout it's life. It's rare to find an older RX-7 with such low genuine mileage in the condition shown and the improvements included. Clearly its evident it's been well looked after. As this is not an extremely tuned example, it can be used for daily driving & is also affordable to insure by younger drivers wanting a reliable, good looking RX-7. Also being of very low mileage and with no modifications, you can expect this example to give around 50,000 miles of reliable motoring and retain it's value strongly.
