1993 Nissan 200SX RS13 facelift

This car has been the high-point of the last year or so of my life, I dreamt about having a car like this all through college, then I finally got the balls (and cash) to buy one. Its been my daily driver everyday, and even been round the Nurburgring, all without missing a beat. Ive owned this car since 70k, and its been serviced every 3000 miles by myself. Its taxed and MOTd until April.

Spec
-CA18DET engine (83'606 miles)
-Garrett T28 turbo (from low-mileage S14A, fitted by ART at 73k)
-K&N 57i induction kit
-Apex turbo-back exhaust system
-HKS SSQV Blow off valve
-Saab FMIC
-Platinum-tipped spark plugs
-HD Stage 1 chip (although this will be a Stage 2 chip by the time it sells)
-Apex 40mm lowering springs/Apex shockers
-Rear strut bar
-Lenso Evo II 18X7.5 wheels
-Will come with 3 brand new (one nearly new) Pirelli P-Zero Rossi tyres - 215/35 front, 225/40 rear

Interior
-Momo steering wheel w/ snap-off boss (auto-cancel on indicator works as it should)
-Colour-coded centre console
-GReddy boost gauge mounted in A-Pillar (reads in bar)
-Oil pressure/boost gauge (PSI) mounted above glovebox
-JVC 'Monster' 6X9 speakers on parcel shelf
-Nismo replica gear knob
-Momo pedals

Bodywork

The car has been de-spoilered, and de-bricked. The front end has had a recent complete respray (bonnet, bumper, wings) due to a botched attempt by the previous owner which was a different shade of red. The bonnet was sprayed black to match the roof, centre panel on rear lights and wheels. At the same time, a vented headlight cover was fitted.There are no dents and no rust anywhere on the car.

Bad bits

-All four wheels show slight kerb marks (from previous owner)
-There is a small patch of paint missing above the number plate (roughly an inch across in black)
-Front plastic splitter is damaged (has a split)

If anyone wants pics of the bad bits, let me know. However:

Good bits

-Two new front brake pads (have covered 60 miles so far)
-New starter motor
-New coilpacks
-New battery
-New spark plugs

All these have been done within the last two weeks, and on top of this are the Stage 2 chip and 3 new tyres as mentioned before.

Price is £3000 ovno, Im looking for a black S14A or an SR-engined S13 (preferably Type-X) as replacement. This car is already potentially sold at £3k pending whether he can sell his MR2 turbo.

In spectacular fashion, I forgot to mention another one of the bad bits. The engine mounts are worn, so the engine has a fair amount of movement at idle. Obviously once its above 1100rpm the engine is steady as a rock, its not an expensive job, its just something that has never particularly bothered me enough to get sorted.

The back seats are currently out of the car as I was planning on getting some proper use out of her this year. However, I will happily put them back in for a potential buyer. Theyve only been out of the car for around 2 weeks, and Ive driven the car once in that time. :nod:

Ive genuinely no idea how good it would be as a drift car. I was told when I bought it that it had an uprated diff on it, although how accurate that is Ive no idea (hence why I didnt mention it in the sale). If someone wants to buy it and drive it hard, all the best to them, thats why I built her I just dont have the balls/time/money to drive her properly. Glad you like her though. :)
 
I never mentioned a special diff either, simply an uprated one. Although if you are the person I bought it from, you never mentioned knackered turbo seals either, which I found as an eruption of blue smoke around 4 miles away from your home once the car had warmed up. Although apparently this had been told to another SXOC member prior to me buying it...Not to mention the tyres were swapped during the week after I left a deposit before I came back to pick it up :p

Anyway, thats all gone and forgotten now, want to buy her back? :D
 
There is no uprated diff, its just a facelift viscous one.

Are you the one who had the 2litre 16V Nova that was swapped/px'd with this car?

I bought the car from a guy called Joe, a perfectly nice lad Ive got to admit, who was moving away to Canada I believe. I wasnt amused when the turbo seals went though, even if it was the excuse I needed to buy a T28.

Still, its all in the past now. The car has run fine for a year without even a slight problem, this overfuelling issue will soon be sorted and the car will be ready to sell.
 
Im very interested - but dont like the sound of engine mounts, and i live in the south west and want a car within a few days - so i doubt that will happen.

Shame because it sounds very nice. Maye a mod can get rid of the other posts on this thread, as they may put people off for no reason ?!?!

And what overfuelling issue do you have ?
 
I agree about maybe getting rid of some of the posts, the misunderstanding doesnt really help people.

The engine mounts have never really been a big concern to be honest, admittedly they need doing but its never been bad enough for me to sort out. Ive seen Nismo mounts for circa £50, and my mechanic quoted me a further £50 to fit them for me, so its not a big job. That said, she wont be ready to sell for another 2 weeks really, so I wont be able to sell within the next few days mate, sorry. :(

The overfuelling issue is the only pain in the arse Ive ever had with her, basically its flooding the engine, we think because the fuel pump is faulty (its from a VW Golf VR6). After a look at the problem, my mechanic simply thinks the fuel pump needs replacing, which if it does, Ill have a Walbro 255 fitted. This is the reason why Im waiting to sell, I want the car running 100% perfect before someone else takes her away.
