It is with deep regret that I have to sell my s14a . The reason for selling is I seem to spend every spare penny I have on it and leave no thought for the mortgage/bills etc.. I'll buy a cheaper one when this sells
I bought the car from an elderly gentleman back in Sept 05 who bought it from Nissan when it was 6 months old who used it as a demo car. When I bought the car it was completely standard apart from the 10 classical cd's he left in the cd changer It took me months to find the one I was after and a 6 hour/300 mile round trip to collect it.
*Its a 1998/S s14a touring in Damson first registered 15/12/98.
*Has full service history with receipts for all services except the first three which even though have been stamped in the book by Nissan the previous owner has lost the invoices. Next service is due in 4.5k.
*The car has just clocked 80k, only 10k per annum.
*I've just put 6 months tax on it and the MOT expires 12/06
*It has the Touring spec, cd changer, a/c, leather etc. There is a small tear in the leather on drivers seat side bolster on the underside where its worn from getting in/out, I'm told this is quite common.
*I've changed the steering wheel because i'm lanky and the original kept rubbing my knees however its still available.
*Air-con re-gassed on 02/06/06
Exterior:
*Been de-bricked on the front
*Front fogs were removed when the FMIC went in. I still have them so could be put back in.
*De-spoilered rear, still have the original spoiler and can be used just have to take out the blanking plugs in the rear bootlid.
Modifications:
*Front 10mm hubcentric spacer.
*Apex Coilovers.
*Driftworks Rear camber and toe arms all set-up by Protyre, Bristol.
*Apex cat-back single silencer exhaust, 3" bore, 4.5" slash.
*3" De-cat.
*3" Front pipe.
*Apex type1 FMIC with Varta small race battery.
*Apex Boost controller.
*Walbro Fuel pump.
*IK24 plugs.
*Bailey Evo DV.
*Big hole in Air-box.
*Driftworks sreering boss.
*Sparco alcantara steering wheel.
*Braided water & oil turbo hoses.
*Mocal boost guage.
*Apex Twin A-pillar guage mount(not yet fitted)
Every time I've used the car I've always let it warm up(much to the annoyance of the surrounding neighbourhood who ask why i have to sit outside the house for 5mins at 6 in the morning ) and I always allow it to cool down before turning off
Since I've owned the car the turbo gaskets have been done, at the same time the braided hoses were done.
theres no leaky WMIC which i took off and relaced with the Apex FMIC, and just recently I've spend a fortune paying for the head gasket to be replaced along with this all gaskets from the head face upwards; Head to manifold, inlet/exhaust outlet, small gasket near the timing chain tensioner etc..
Bad points.
Theres a small dent in the rear bumper where the previous owners daughter rolled in down the driveway into a post. Some of my friends hav'nt even noticed it but it is there, it hasn't bother me. You could pick a rear bumper up for peanuts on the board.
Also a small tear in the driver door card near the window, bout an inch long. Again has never bothered me.
All standard parts are available these can be changed to lower the price.
