I have a 1983 Celica ST RA60 running a 2.0 21r NA carbed lump
I'd like to get more power out of it, so I'm looking for advice or suggestions on doing so WITHOUT having to pull the engine as I don't really have the time to be faffing about with a conversion.
Diff is welded, it has a straight through exhaust, everything else is pretty standard. It slides absolutely fine in the wet, but I struggle to get the power down and keep the revs up in dry conditions.
I would estimate it has around 90hp as it stands, is there any real possibility of getting it near 150?
