just looking at the auction websites for a buddy, and there is alot of high milage twincams, normally i would ignore a car with 100k miles++ , but alot of people tend have twincams with this milage??
well they are a toyota, so surely u cud expect to get more then 150k miles outta an engine, is it risky with milage this high or are these engine bulletproof?? any opinions on this muchly appreciated
also does anyone have the rear seats and interior to one,

I've had 4AGE's with biggish mileage. My black AE86 had 189k on the original engine... head gasket needed doing but the lump was still potent and very free-revving. Noticeably more tired than my 41k 4AGE in the goldie, but still very strong.

If oil and filter has been changed every 3-5k and it hasn't been thrashed from cold, post 100k 4AGE's are fine. Besides, you can pick up quite fresh 16v's for a coupla hundred quid anyway.

Axles and diffs are weak and will start complaining over 100k, but will still work OK. T50's are fine if you don't abuse them and keep the oil clean.
