were after a ae86 5.1 crown-wheel and pinion can you guys get them?

u dont happen to know Peter Barrable!! he was on to a guy from the UK asking him to try and get a 5:1 CWP two nights ago?
Basically a 5:1 isnt available at all for a AE86. trust me.
you can get from TOYOTA:
3:9
4:1
4:3
4:5
4:7
And from TRD:
5:3 - made from stronger material.

nope dont know him thats a bugger.. was told a while back a car was running a 5.1 but never spoke to the guy.. bassically my dads put a ford straight cut gearbox into the corolla after stripping 2nd gear in our last box the straight cut box is good but 1st is way to long it does something like 30mph an shes struggling to get off the line now so either get another gearset made up or a C&P

A std ae86 with std diff and box does 30mph in 1st!
The high 1st gear on the ford boxes are all good! You may think its not great off the line, but you dont win rallys by having a good start time or first 10 meters do ya!
I'll buy or swap the gearbox from ya, and you can have one of my fully rebuilt T50's!

he keeps locking the rears with gears so the t50 doesnt seem strong enough to take that sorta abuse we wouldnt mind about getting off the line but its when we get into tight farm yards its hard to get it to break loose
