AE86 for sale

I'm selling my AE86 driftproject. It breaks my heart, but it's just to much work. The plan was to put a CA18DET in it with S13 suspension. The engine was already dead when I bought it. It's USDM, but was imported in 1984 as is the buildyear. The seats are from a GTS and it has A/C and P/S, even cruise-control. The interior is in a great condition. The paint is surprisingly really good. It still shines, but it does have some scratches. I could find no rust!

I'm looking to sell this project all together. So with the CA18DET ECU and wiringloom.
Also with a Leda suspension system which costs over 1.000 pounds new.
The original plan was to put a S13 suspension on it so I also got the parts needed for the suspension swap incl brakes.

It needs to be picked up, but I can deliver it within the Netherlands. I'm looking for 1.860 pounds.

sammy its worth taking it to the UK if you dont mind sitting on the wrong side of the car:)

It seriously is a nice good quality body, just needs to get another engine and an LSD and your set for alot of fun:)

Aico, you do need to mention this thing has got the 4AC and no LSD mate.

me not knowing much about hatchis yet, whats 4ac??

im really intrested but would need a deffo price on getting the car to a uk dock.

decent 20v lump,2 way diff and pimp rimmage would be uber cool.

sammy, 4AC is the less powerfull carberated 8valve 1.5 something liter engine that they put into the slower more luxurious models of the hachi. Basically the same car except for the engine and that it doesn't have a limited slip diff.. It does however have P/S and A/C and a little bit more 'american' suspention settings:)

Everything is swappable with a 4AG (16 valve EFI) powered hachi so if you can find a scrapper or something to get the drivetrain from you can swap it all over. They share the same gearbox, just the engine and rear axle are needed.

With such a swap you need to keep a few things in mind:
1) this is a carberated model. you will need an ECU and wireloom from a 4AG model
2) this is a trueno (popup lights), not a levin, so you will have to alter the wireloom to make things like the popup lights work
3) you need to do some tidbits to the fuel system, build in a fuel pump and stuff since you are going from carb to EFI

But it mostly is straight bolt on work if you have a 4AG scrapper to work from.

You can simplify matters by putting in a carbed 4AG but that will cost more.
Or go the route Aico was planning and put something totally different in there with a stand alone ECU.

Last but not least, you can get the 4AC working again and only swap rear axles to get LSD. A mate of mine still has a working 4AC in the shed that he can sell to you and give to aico to take along with the car. Do know though that a stock 4AC in combination with the 4AG axle is not a fun car to drive and the 4AC only has limited tuning potential (you can bring it up to 4AG specs but thats about it).

guna have a good long think, im still v. intrested.

ohh and as regards to engine i have an sr20det on its way.
