thinking of selling, as the car i want has just turned up for sale on the scene.

here is the thread to mine.

SPEC:

new wheel bearings, altenator, cambelt bla bla bla....
service within the last few hundred miles so typical service stuff done.

Body:

Full repaint in toyota colour, i have more ready mixed paint available.
all metal rear extended arches
genuine late spec front splitter
Genuine TRD wing
side skirts
Side strips removed, but available.

Toys:
cat 2 imob
Bride fixed bucket seat
Bride seat rail and slider
tenzo r spin handbrake lever.
jdm shift knob
jdm wheel
(these are aftermarket bits that came on the car from japan, not ebay jdm (like fuck) specials)
NGK power leads
Apex'i induction kit
Blitz cat back exhaust
decat
Konig rewinds 14x7 -9 mint.
new firestones on the front, part worn bridgestone potenzas on the back. all very legal.
Cusco adjustable camber top mounts.
recent kyb shocks on front
rsr springs
trd blue rear shocks
front strut brace

ok. this car has no mot. if you read the thread you will see it needs:

2 exhaust gasgets. i will do this.
number plate putting on the car, i will do this too.
a fog light, i will do this.

now the important bit. it needs new springs on the front and new shocks on the rear. it also has slight rust on inside of tailgate. the car is otherwise mint. this dictates the price.

£4800 if you supply suspension, i will put through MOT
£5100 if i supply new pair kyb for rears and new fensport springs
other suspension may also be available but price will change.

silly offers will not be entertained, as this car stands me in for a whole lot more than that. and it is worth more than that too me. reason for sale........always wanted a white trueno. now i have seen 1.

This comes as standard from factory :D mines crap and flakey too! Good excuse to bin it for somthing light and FRP :nod:

Seriously had I not got the N2 and fallen in love with it I would have had yours like a shot. Problem is your is too mint for me, I would only mess it up :D

exacty :nod: you even get some free paint.... so no need to colour match!!!! :D
 
I'll have it as a 2nd car! If i didnt already have an Asian Carrier, AE82, MK2 Escort, Ford Anglia, VW caddy etc etc! lol

I would say good luck with the sale dude, but i dont want you to sell it as i dont like Trueno's half as much as levins/corolla's!

i was looking for a trueno at first but couldn't find one i liked, so got the levin instead, i love them both but trueno as preference.

its funny you say that you don't like the pop up lights, everyone i speak to says the same!!!!! i think alot of people think it makes them look alot more dated, some say it has a funny shape but i love 'em!

if however it doesn't sell, its no big deal, as i say i love this car to bits, its great condition, but a trueno i like has come up so i gotta at least try and go for it! wouldn't sell it to buy anything else!!!
 
Sweet man, fair enough! Everyone has different preferences! I would have a Trueno, dont get me wrong, the only thing i dont like about them, is how its very shallow on the front end, where as a Levin sits more proud :D

I take it your interested in the one that 'FD & AE86' has for sale! Tidy looking example! Shame its not black tho! haha

been there done that, go the t-shirt. sorry but the engine is in the wrong way, it ain't white and the headlights dont pop up...has to be a cash sale as i already got a car in mind.....sorry!

They are some wicked photos! All of them! Im a bit dissapointed he didnt get a single pic of me at Japfest '04 or '05, but i wont hold it against him! haha

BTW, what suspension were you running on your EP?? My mate really needs to lower his, but the shortest springs i can find for him are -40mm! I bet you went coilovers didnt ya :(
