Ae86 models

im lookin to by a few bits off ebay but the americans and the rest use different model types than the europeans.So im looking to know wat model types are the as late Ae86 uk spec.Im lookin at things like brake discs,pads and bushe also.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Paz is ur man on this one

I know my B reg levin uk model is a early type called a zenki
A friend of mine has a D reg and this is a late type called a kouki

Dunno if that helps

There was no American AE86 that was the same as a UK spec car. The closest you can get is the GTS which had the 4AG and disc brakes all round. It had pop-up lights though and the interior was diffrent I think.

All suspension and brake components should be identical between the GTS and the UK spec car. OR you could check it out for yourself:

ya that one seens to be the main one the gts i know that it looks different but apart from that is all the mechanics of them the same cause i intend to mainly buy upgrading part for mine
 
LSD Addicted: I just left you a reply on TOC! But i basically said that in the way of brakes and bushes etc you should have no trouble buying american items, because mechanically AE86's stayed pretty much the same no matter where they were made for!
Its mostly body panels and trims that were different on non UK models!

But as 'mattwelby' said PAZ is your man! :D :thumbs:
