Well, after years of searching for the right car, at the right price, and finally selling the Scooby, here we are.

Last weekend I collected the cracking red Levin from Newcastle (thanks to a member of this forum :thumbs: ) and today I started stripping.

Not too much to report yet, I have just stripped the interior down as far as the nasty crap on the floor :wack: its gonna take some shifting :cry:

Once this is done I will be painting it inside and out (but not before the full J-blood aero kit is on :cool: ), replacing the motor with something similar but different, full cage, race seats, new suspension, wheels....the list goes on. Dunno how long it will take, as this all depends on finances.

So here are the 'before' shots. If I get chance tomorrow I will update them, and aim to illustrate the entire project right here (if anyone gives a dam! :p ).

that looks lovely. Cant wait to see the project pics, its the first place i look on here, the more i see, the more i want to rip apart everything on my car, just wish i could spray:( good luck with the project dude :thumbs:
 
man i hate it when people say that, when starting a project always start with the cleanest shell/best example possible it makes everything so much nicer to work on, and means you can get on with the fun stuff sooner...it'll be a shame if you crash it like all the other tards who seem to be buying 86's lately. haha.

Get yourself some nice clarke gasket scrapers, and a dead blow hammer - you'll be done in 6-8hours LOL.

u gonna remove all that floor sound proof shite first and then fit the R/C?
cud be a gud idea to sandblast the floor and just seam weld it since its do tidy at the minute??

Or fill the floor with dry ice and freeze the shit solid and then it brakes off like tile! a lot easier and quicker but more of a tidy up afterwards with wet floor and shit... 6 of 1 half a dozen of another!! :mad: ur gonna be upset regardless!! :D
 
am enjoying removing the crap from the floor, must be the influence of the Jap cigs.

I hope to seam weld the bugger, depends if I can remember how to do it :(

I didn't find any whacky fags under the carpet in mine (damn shame :smokin:) so had to provide my own. I did find some old JDM tyte currency though.

Is that plastic part of a JDM condom packet ? :p

Nice car dude! Dont forget, you can sell all of that standard shit on egay to the sad muppets who like the original crap! I sold my interior for about £150 i think! All helps towards the modifying! :nod:
