All original 1985 Mk3 Ford Escort 1.3 L
3 door no sunroof
80,000 miles
Driven up until tax ran out in jan 2010.
No mot (feb 2010)
I bought this car as a run about after my main car got rear-ended and enjoyed driving it so much took ages to replace it with something more suitable. I drove it through the winter and snow without fault.
Little old lady owner before me. As such got loads of service history, original manuals and some other stuff i'll throw in.
It has been used so it's not perfect but i'm not expecting a lot for it.
Interior:
Original 4 speakers and stereo cassette deck
Interior is in excellent condition overall. All original brown plastics.
Small rip in head lining in centre of car.
Rear quater panel trim coming away.
Clean carpet, no oil stains etc.
Passenger footwell gets wet when it rains.
Body:
Underside very solid, never been welded as far as i can tell.
Very solid foot wells / boot / strut tops / battery tray / sills.
Only rust where drain holes have blown thru behind wings. Inner skin looks solid.
One wing has a hole in top leading edge, treated but not repaired.
Arches are a little tatty, scratched and dented. One had a small hole approx 1" long. No visible rust.
Paintwork looks better than it probably is, bit crazed here and there.
Engine:
Starts and runs everytime. Oil, plugs, leads changed recently.
Engine bay is very clean.
Tyres:
Front - Brand new
Rear - Very good
I've been as honest as i can but i'm not a mechanic so i may have missed something. As such it is SOLD AS SEEN. Any questions feel free to PM or post but don't expect an instant reply as i only get online from time to time.
