Wanted Altezza RS200 steering pump - what options do i have ?!?!

After taking my Altezza drifting at one of the drift what you brung events my pump broke and i got swarf throughout all of my steering rack. I have had it flushed out and i desperately need a new pump but a new Altezza one from Toyota is over £500. Does anyone know if Is200 pumps could be made to work? Where can i find a relatively cheap alternative? Any suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks Luke (additionally if anyone has any tips on new rack options in future other than a new Altezza one from Toyota that would help too!)
 
is200 racks are the exact same, pumps are different and are not interchangable, sr20det pump will fit but yah will need to get brackets made to make it fit, a toyota avensis oump will also fit wth a bit of work, hope that helps
 
Thanks very much for your advice. I'll look into sr20 pumps i had heard about them being interchangeable. Toyota told me that the racks are different - you think that's simply the part numbers then? Do you know anyone that has used an IS rack?
 
I cant imagine a electric pump would be any use at all for a drift car.

if your in need of stock altezza pumps i keep some in stock..
