another newbie..hello

hey all, new to this forum and new to drifting but fancied giving it ago so I brought a 318ti compact with my bro and im in the process of doing the basics to it. I plan on going to Birmingham wheels as that's the closet place to me. Is that a good place to go for a beginner? what do people advise? any help/ suggestions with be very helpful :)
