If so I would be interested to hear what you think asa friend and I have just started to learn to drift in one we bought!

I have a 1991 3.0 Turbo manual, 7M-GTE with R154 5 speed.

It came with a cone filter, DV and front strut brace, we have also removed ALL the sound deadening and interior apart from door cards and seats.

Here are the video's of our first attempts;

why have you started the same thread twice ??? why didn't you just ad the vids to your first thread :smash:

I like it. Cool cars. I had a n/a one and it drifted quite well.
Keep up the pod days and you've got a car that should take you quite a way.

whats suspension setup and adjustment do you have? looks a lil clumbsy? just a thought as that might be whats hindering you.

as for no power, it should be good enough, although heavier, a little Ae86 kicks about with sod all power?

power wise the turbo ones are fine, n/a is fine too. cant view the vids at work but every time i have seen a mk3 not skidding too well its been down to speed. they are big units and need to be chucked in hard. drove an n/a one years ago and it was odd as you had to drive it like an 86, throwing it in with plenty of speed. also diff wise if its open or an old torsen it will suck. the torsen diffs on the toyotas just seem to unlock unless you keep progressively applying throttle which makes it straighten.

so....welder if you not got one and more speed. based on my experiences and not seeing the vid :wack:
