Anyone know electrics? Kids drifter needs help.

So firstly let me apologise for posting this on here as this isn't a real car but Im hoping someone with electrical knowledge can point me in the right direction.
We brought my car mad son a 12v ride on gtr (cus he loves his dad's skyline) for Xmas and a few weeks ago the circuit board burnt out. I don't know why, but more importantly I don't know how to fix it. It's the sort of thing I could of popping into maplins for but as they are no more I don't know of any other outlet.
If someone knows anything or someone that might be able to help I would be very grateful and would obviously pay for the repair . I've taken pics of the circuit board so hopefully people can see.

you see in the first pic on the right-hand side edge the track has burnt out. It may have knocked a component out. but that's a good place to start
 
Thanks, I tried a multi meter the other day. The earth lead connects to the very top centre solder joint on the board and every thing else is 12v live for some reason. I think The burnt out but is where earth had a fight with live and popped that strip.
