Alloy diverter valves (standard plastic ones fail)
Still have the standard air box and old diverter valves.
Got a set of silicon hoses for it that haven’t been fitted yet.
Trying to be as honest as possible and listing every little problem.
No service history, only old receipts.
Recently serviced (mileage wise) with receipt.
Underside is solid, only sign of rust on the whole car is a very small bubble on a rear wheel arch.
Would benefit from machine buff and polish. And an interior valet. Roof lining either needs a really good clean or just replaced (should be easy enough since they are the cardboard clip in style).
Seats and door cards have been changed to better condition items in a lighter colour, but original ones can come with the car.
LCD dash display is pixelated (common problem)
Trim missing from bottom of both front doors and the rear passenger side quarter window.
Slow puncture or rim leak on driver side rear.
Obviously since it’s not got service history a timing belt would be advisable, though the previous owner did say that he did it along with the water pump. I would probably do the rocker cover gaskets at the same time, as they are also a common fault, but wouldn’t take long if you were already doing the timing belt. My local garage quoted me £600 to do the timing belt and water pump, but would cost less if they found the water pump wasn’t needed.
Battery won’t hold charge
Recently put it through an mot and it failed on:
Binding brakes (because it has been sat for a while)
Emissions (either a sensor or because the exhaust is leaking slightly at the joins the garage thinks)
Two dust boots on the track control ends.
£3000 p/x or swap for motorbike
