Err..

Cause a Cossie YB is about THE best 4cyl production engine there is.

Makes SRs and shit like that look like total junk.

600bhp 2litre engines with powerbands other 2litre cars with nearly half the power cant match. (Tho a lot of that is the "interesting" engine specs people use on SRs etc)

Steel crank and rods as standard good for over 600bhp, and so on...
 
but surely a good old m3 6 cylinder would be just as fun just without the turbo!! hey the amount of money he must have put into this car he prob coulda turbod or supercharged an m3 now that would be a car!!

Perfectly styled, perfectly spec'd, top work.

I'd have to say, a Cossie lump wouldn't be my choice (CA18DET :wack: ) but I can see why they'd use it, as they are fairly easy to get hold of, and tunable with lots of expertise in this country.

He had a 4x4 Saff, he likes E30s, so took his Saff to bits to build this awesome car.

At the spec it is its likely to be around 350bhp and 350lbft with 300lbft+ from about 3.5k.
THAT isnt gonna come cheap or easy from a M3 lump, a LOT more than this car will prob sell for on ebay, never mind what the car cost to build...

You obv dunno what you on about, and if you dont like it, STFU and stop ruining a perfectly good thread, like you shouldve on almost every post youve made lately...

hey i aint dissing the motor as i said it looks like a sweet ride just saying id have done it with an m3 engine but if he was breaking a saphire anyways i can see why he did it. fair play to the old boy for doing what he likes!!!

it would be a boring world if we all liked the same things now wouldnt it mate!!:thumbs:
