My car still does not start. The engine is sparking and petrol is going thorugh. Mechanics are charging me loads and can not work out the problem. I also live in a flat and have no where to work on the car
After a pretty stressful week Im thinking of selling the car Its costing me loads to store the car and nobody seems to be able to fix it. Its very painful and I just wanna give up
Here is the spec
-1984 with 175KM (about 110,000 miles)
-Import with 11 months MOT and 5 months TAX
-BODYWORK: The car is a rot and rust free example imported from Japan. It does not have any rot anywhere, see pics. Some very minor rust patches and the tailgate could become rusty in the future due to the spoiler. It has been attached by rivots, some of the rivots have come out.
.
-TRD Fiberglass rear spoiler
-Grill, headlights and front bumper from a facelift AE86.
-Rear interior and passenger seat are from a facelift AE86. It is the very rare black interior. I will also include lots of spare interior parts with the car. The rear quarter interior panels have been cut to make way for the roll bars.
-Drivers seat is an original Bride racing seat. These are very supportive, comfortable and expensive.
-Uprated clutch, heavy and tight.
-TRD 2 way limited slip differential.
-Spats racing Strut Brace at the front.
-Cusco adjustable camber plates.
-8 Way Adjustable GAB Coilover Suspension. Only available in Japan. Very Expensive and rare.
-Roll cage in the back with extra bar to go across rear seats. This has currently been removed so rear seats are accessible. This can easily be added back on for even more safety and structural rigidity. The extra bar will be provided with the car.
-Small momo steering wheel
-Hoshino Impul split rim racing wheels at the back. http://www.impul.co.jp/
-Speedstar MK II chrome split rims at the front. Cost a fortune in Japan and unavailable in the UK.
-Expensive Bridgestone tyres at the front with very good tread. Rear tyres are Japanese tyres with hard wearing compound.
-Drift button on Handbrake
-HKS Mushroom Air Filter
-Cusco High Pressure Radiator Cap
-Alpine in dash 3 CD shuttle with graphic equaliser, radio and cassette player.
-Brand New parts on the car include: HT leads, ignition coil, Distributor Cap, Spark Plugs, rotor and oil.
-Lots of other stuff. The extras on this car are worth a fortune. It is all top quality Japanese tuning parts.
- The engine has been compression tested and all cylinders are OK but working on the current engine will be too expensive according to the mechanic.
The car with a non-starting engine has to be worth 2950 including all the extra's to somebody who can tow it away and has knowledge of engine. When the engine was running she was awesome and worth much more.
