I was bidding on it, but now decided I got too many cars, so thought id let someone else go for it.

Check out the dish on the rims! Guttmann grille too by the looks of it.

The Saloons like that (which are mega rare BTW) come with a LSD as standard too.

That would look soooo cool painted matt black IMO.

Id love it, but my sensible side has came out, so i quit, lol.

Silly cheap at that price, only other GTIs you ever see are the Estates and they still go for around a grand most times! :wack:

And yes, they RWD, 2.2 4cyl 8valve OHC.

Weigh about 1250kg, so not loads, and great handling as standard supposedly.
 
good find. It looks like it wants to kick your teeth in from the front. proper hard, but looks like a granada from the rear qtr!

Nah, she came out with me, James :D

I put £450 on (I think:wack:). Never expected to win it really, but had had a few afternoon drinkies by then :nod: :)
 
I had a feeling it would go for a lot.

Even nigh on 600quid is cheap for them, like said, the Estate GTIs still go for about a grand when they come up, and TBH thats the first 4door 505 GTI ive seen in many many years.

Time to import a 505 Turbo from America or France I reckon :D
