Best place for Insurance?..

Hi, I am looking to get into my first Jap Import in the next 6 months. But I’m not managing to find any good insurance quotes... none under 5k!! Can anyone suggest/help with any specific insurance companies that specialise in this kind of stuff? Many thanks in advance.

Age, work and location plays a big part.

I had cheap insurance when I worked in Bristol. Then moved to the centre of Manchester and my renewal tripled. went from £350 to almost £1100. I learned the hard way owning even a cheap modded import (eunos roadster) could cost a bomb. Speaking to others at cars and coffee just moving 20 odd miles to stockport could have halved the priced.
